After attending Bible University, I began to work with Radio SOS in Ploiesti, Romania. It was during that time I met Richard Ellison. I felt that he was a gifted and special man of God. Most importantly, I could feel the love of God pouring out from his heart.

When he shared his vision regarding the ministry in Romania, his words went deep into my heart and I felt I needed to be a part of the vision. I told him about my home town -Beclean, Romania where I was born and raised and how this community desperately needed Christian radio.

Through the miraculous ways of God, radio was birthed in my community. Local volunteers worked with Americans Jerry and Colene Barrett to transform a historical church into a ministry center where the radio station is now located.

As of August 2004, SOS Radio-Beclean broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are working to make SOS the very best it can be. Our vision is to influence the listeners to find true life which can only be obtained thru our Lord Jesus Christ.
